New organization of the Ministry of Defence presented to Foreign Military Representatives



Foreign Military Representatives accredited in Belgrade were briefed about the new organization of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia in the Guard House at Top?ider today. The briefing has been attended by all the military representatives accredited in our country, as well as the representatives of the NATO Office.

The meeting was opened by Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department, Retired General Milorad Peri?. - Finally we have a framework for the continuation of the reform process. The new organization will probably have a lot of challenges, but it is normal in all armies – Peri? said, among other things.

Head of the Department for Organization, Brigadier General Branko Andri? spoke to the military diplomats about the new structure of the Serbian Ministry of Defence. He also informed them about the ideas and directives that preceded the new organization and priorities in the further reorganization in accordance with the given key points of the reform of our defence system.

Bearing in mind that the foreign military representatives cooperate in their work usually with the International Military Cooperation Department, they were briefed in detail about the new organization, functions and priorities in its work in the future.

Briefing of the foreign military representatives has been organized by the Defence Policy Sector of the Ministry of Defence.
