Minister Vučević: Serbian Armed Forces are ready and trained to carry out every order of the Supreme Commander



Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević, accompanied by the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, visited members of the Serbian Armed Forces who are currently in the garrison of Raška where they are taking part in exercise Manoeuvres 2022. Following a meeting with the most senior officers of our armed forces and a visit to the units stationed in “Stefan Nemanja” barracks, Minister Vučević said that the Serbian Armed Forces were ready, capable and trained to carry out every task and order issued by the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander and the state leadership.
- Together with the Chief of the General Staff, General Mojsilović, and the most senior officers of the Army, Air Force and Air Defence and the Ministry of the Interior, I have inspected the SAF units and we have agreed that the situation in the Serbian Armed Forces units is excellent, that the personnel is well-prepared, trained and equipped, and that morale is at a very high level. We have also concluded that the Serbian Armed Forces, as a guarantor of security and preservation of the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Serbia, are ready, capable and trained to carry out every task and every order issued by the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander and the state leadership. I can proudly say that the Serbian Armed Forces are always in those places where they are needed the most, always with their people, protecting their country - said Minister Vučević.
During the tour, Minister Vučević also took the opportunity to talk to officers and soldiers who briefed him on the situation in their units and the activities undertaken in preparation for and during the execution of the exercise.
