Military physicians provide assistance to village residents in Loznica and Ražanj

In collaboration with the Red Cross, local self-governments and health centres, members of the Serbian Armed Forces have conducted the “Military Doctor in the Country” campaign in the area of Loznica and Ražanj.
The purpose of this CIMIC project, which was carried out in the village of Brezjak near Loznica and Smilovac in the vicinity of Ražanj, was to provide medical care to the local residents who have poor access to health care due to the remoteness of their villages.

As part of the campaign, medical teams composed of members of the First Army Brigade and the Mixed Artillery Brigade performed physical examinations to check the overall health of the residents, and house calls were organized for the disabled and the people who have difficulty walking. On this occasion, food parcels, provided by the Red Cross, were distributed.

As many times before, SAF members were warmly welcomed by the locals who have expressed deep gratitude for the military physicians’ professionalism and readiness to provide every assistance.
This is not the first time the Serbian Armed Forces have helped the inhabitants of remote villages in the areas of Loznica and Ražanj, and other parts of the Republic of Serbia, and they will continue to carry out such projects aimed at strengthening cooperation and helping the local population.
