Tactical Drill for Army Tankmen
Members of the Army battalion equipped with tanks Т-72МС are carrying out the elements of collective training and tactical drill at training areas in the barracks and practice areas in the vicinity of Niš.
This is regular training conducted in cycles throughout the year aimed at maintaining the high level of competence of professional members of the unit for combat use of these tanks, and the stress is placed on the training of professional members who have been recently assigned to duties in the unit.
During the practice, the tank crews are mastering tactical procedures while executing defensive and offensive combat activities. They are also undergoing practical training in safe tank driving on various terrains and in efficient use of tank armament. In the following phase of the training, they will be faced with live firing exercises when they will demonstrate in the field the level of competence to execute the most complex tasks of tank units.
Continuous realisation of a wide spectrum of exercise activities and practical training on the tank Т-72МС ensure a high level of combat readiness of the tank battalion. Concurrently, it increases the confidence of tank crews in the reliability and power of their combat equipment, the introduction of which enhanced the capability of the Serbian Armed Forces to execute armoured and anti-tank actions in combat operations.
