Training on Radar-Computer Assets in 126th ASEWG Brigade
Radar positions of the 126th Air Surveillance, Early Warning and Guidance Brigade are locations on which training is being conducted for permanently engaged forces for the control and protection of the airspace of the Republic of Serbia.
The training is being conducted as part of regular activities, and it encompasses the practice of radar technicians, data presentation operators and identification operators, engaged on key radar assets and systems.
In line with a realistic scenario, they practice the procedures used during the execution of tasks of gathering, processing and distribution of radar surveillance data, and they perform practical actions while servicing the radar-computer assets and performing their regular maintenance.
The realisation of the training ensures that all members of 126th ASEWG Brigade meet the highest standards, necessary for the efficient control of the Republic of Serbia airspace, guidance of fighter aviation, provision of navigation support to aircraft in distress and guidance of air defence artillery-missile units.
