New generation of officers admitted to SAF units
Second lieutenants who were promoted to their first officer rank two days ago by presidential decree of Aleksandar Vučić, the President and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, have been admitted to SAF commands, units and establishments today.
Commanders and heads of operational departments and units received the young officers and welcomed them to the Serbian Armed Forces. They congratulated the second lieutenants on their successful graduation and presented to them the organization, missions and tasks of the units under their command.The second lieutenants will now be introduced to the military personnel, as well as their responsibilities and tasks in their initial duties as officers where they will be able to apply and broaden the knowledge they gained while studying at the Military Academy.
Formal receptions for the youngest second lieutenants were held in the Army, Air Force and Air Defence, Training and Guard commands and the departments of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff that have subordinate units.
