The Adjutant General of the Ohio National Guard, Major General John Harris, is on an official visit to the Republic of Serbia at the invitation of the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
Today, General Harris visited the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, where he discussed the current regional security situation with General Mojsilović and the possibilities for further improvement of bilateral military cooperation.

During the talks, it was pointed out that the collaboration between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard, which was established 16 years ago as Serbia-Ohio State Partnership Program, is developed, fruitful and characterized by constant improvement. It was agreed that successful joint cooperation contributes to the development of trust and friendly relations and is particularly important for reaching interoperability and improving the level of operational capabilities of the two countries’ armed forces.

On that occasion, he was presented with the Order of the Serbian Flag, 2nd class, for special merits in developing and strengthening peaceful cooperation and the overall friendly relations between Serbia and the United States.
