Admission of youngest generation of soldiers into military service
Soldiers of the September 2022 intake have been given a reception at the SAF Training Centres in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
Upon their arrival at the barracks, the soldiers underwent mandatory medical examinations, were issued weapons and equipment and were then assigned to units, where officers commanding briefed them about their rights, obligations and tasks.Soldiers of all specialties will spend the next month and a half in the basic training centres, doing close order drills, learning service rules, being trained to handle personal weapons, performing basic tactical combat actions and procedures, and improving their physical fitness.
Voluntary military service lasts for six months and includes basic and individual specialized training at the Training Command Centres, followed by collective training and active engagement in the daily routine of SAF units till the end of their military service.
