Visit to SAF troops in Ground Safety Zone



Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković, has visited today the Merdare and Veliki Trn bases in the Ground Safety Zone. 
On this occasion, General Cvetković inspected the conditions and organization of life and work in the two bases under the jurisdiction of the 3rd Army Brigade and assessed that members of the unit possess excellent skills in controlling the Ground Safety Zone and securing the administrative boundary with Kosovo and Metohija.

Concluding his visit, General Cvetković praised the soldiers and officers assigned to these bases for their skills and professional attitude to their responsibilities, stressing that their competence and high morale were a guarantee of successful execution of all tasks and security of the citizens living in this part of the Republic of Serbia.
