Visit to Serbian Armed Forces units in Leskovac and Niš



Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has visited some of the Training Command and the Central Logistics Base units in the garrisons of Leskovac and Niš.
  The tour began at the "Vojvoda Petar Bojović" barracks in Leskovac, where General Mojsilović observed the training of soldiers who are performing their military service in the Third Training Centre, visited the refurbished facilities for personnel accommodation and equipment storage and inspected the dynamics of unexploded ordnance disposal.
At the end of his visit to this unit, which performs a significant role of providing training to soldiers who are performing their military service and creating conditions for enhancing operational capabilities of military units, the professional component was briefed about the main strategic and operational-level tasks, plans for further enhancement of capabilities and measures taken to improve the status and financial position of the Serbian Armed Forces personnel.
  Later on, General Mojsilović visited the headquarters and some of the units subordinate to the Central Logistics Base Depot Battalion in Niš, inspecting the provision storehouse and military supply depot, transportation capabilities to meet the requirements of units in this part of the country, as well as the ordnance, vehicle and installation maintenance capabilities.
After visiting the Training Centre and the Depot Battalion, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff expressed his satisfaction with the progress achieved in all areas of life and work. He particularly stressed the professional service members’ dedication to their duties, and excellent results and motivation shown by the soldiers whose military service started in June this year and who are already showing interest in joining the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
