Cadets and Students’ Training in Operating Motor Vehicles
Battalion for the training of the transportation service of the Serbian Armed Forces is currently conducting the training of cadets of the Military Academy and students of the Military Vocational High School “1300 Corporals” in safe operation of “C” category motor vehicles.
The training is carried out in the training area “Beranovac” near Kraljevo, and it is conducted by certified instructors from this unit of the Logistics Training Centre, in accordance with the programme of education of future members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
During the training, the cadets and students acquire knowledge on the rules and safety in traffic, the exploitation and maintenance of vehicles and their subsystems, and they undergo training in the operation of vehicles on military training area and on public roads. Upon successful completion of the training and theoretical and practical examinations, they will acquire driving licences in line with the Law on Road Traffic Safety of the Republic of Serbia.
The training in operating motor vehicles is a compulsory part of the education of cadets of the Military Academy and students of the Military Vocational High School who are expected, as future members of the Serbian Armed Forces to master various types of knowledge and skills which do not necessarily have to be of military nature.
