Minister Sutanovac in Algeria: Great possibilities for cooperation



Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac stated today that both Serbia and Algeria had good prospects achieving excellent military-economical cooperation, which could yield good economical profits to both countries in near future.

Sutanovac who is in an official visit to Algeria, met with the Defense Minister of this country Abdelmalek Guenaizia, expressing his pleasure at seeing both countries embarking on long-term partnership.
Along with the meetings with Minister Guenaizia, we had other meetings relating to military economical cooperation which, we hold, will be very promising in the long-run in the state of Algeria, and which would engage a large capacity of metal industry of Serbia in near future to both countries’ pleasure and benefit”, as minister Sutanovac says.

"What should be noted is that we got assurances regarding future Serbian-Algerian cooperation that Algeria chose Serbia as its long-term partner in the area of defense and we believe that it could be a strong propellant of economic cooperation in general.”

Minister Sutanovac reminded that Algeria was one of Serbia’s greatest partners in the field of defense in the whole north African region, and that the traditionally long-standing cooperation of many years had been additionally improved by having Algerian army members at studies in our military schools, “as Minister said.

The delegation headed by the minister of economy Mladjan Dinkic had a number of meetings but what is even more important there is a great possibility that both countries will see huge economic benefits from this cooperation.

State-economical delegation of Serbia made up of representatives of 60 most powerful Serbian companies started a three-day visit to Algeria during which they would discus and consider possibilities for economical cooperation of the two countries.
