Statement

Today, at around 11.30 a.m., a small fire broke out in one of the offices in the Ministry of Defence building in Birčaninova Street, Belgrade. The fire did not spread and it was soon extinguished.

Fire-fighters immediately arrived at the scene, finding the premises filled with smoke and all safety measures in the event of fire taken.

All employees in the Ministry of Defence building are safe and the circumstances leading to the outbreak of fire are being determined.
