Signal Brigade units doing mobile camp
Class of December 2021, who are doing their specialized training and six-month military service in the Signal Brigade, are doing a mobile camp which lasts for several days. Alongside professional members, the soldiers are learning the skills needed for carrying out unit-specific assignments.
During the camp, soldiers are trained in setting up mobile telecommunication centres at command posts, establishing and maintaining communications and organizing the life and work in the field.All activities are standardized and executed during both daytime and night-time. The results show that the soldiers are performing exercise activities in a professional manner and that they have successfully completed theoretical training in study rooms and classrooms.
Doing a mobile camp in real-world conditions provides training for the soldiers who are performing their military service and improves the unit’s ability to plan and perform the tasks such as providing operational and strategic commands with telecommunication and information services, which plays a pivotal role in commanding SAF efficiently.
