Training in 1st Army Brigade Mechanized Units
Class of December 2021, who are performing their military service, are currently doing intensive training in the 1st Army Brigade Mechanized Battalion in Bačka Topola alongside professional soldiers who are undergoing additional training.
This is routine crew training in executing collective assignments using the M-80A infantry fighting vehicle. It is intended for soldiers performing their military service and professional soldiers recently admitted to the unit.Having successfully completed theoretical lessons and instruction using trainers, gunners and drivers of this fighting vehicle use the barracks’ training grounds to practice tactical actions and procedures needed for conducting live firing. In order for soldiers to be fully trained in performing their duties, the training involves perfecting the techniques of operating the fighting vehicles in different conditions. As the training continues, firing practices and live firings will be carried out using armoured units’ weapons to check the soldiers’ abilities to perform fire missions.
The Brigade conducts training for soldiers who are doing their military service and professional soldiers throughout the year. By doing additional training delivered routinely in all SAF units, professional soldiers get ready for more responsible duties within their branches/services, increasing the overall abilities of the unit.
