CBRN units undergo training for participation in multinational operations

Two 246th CBRN Battalion’s platoons declared for participation in multinational operations under the Operational Capabilities Concept programme are undergoing collective training in the "Car Lazar" barracks and at the "Ravnjak" military complex in Kruševac.
In order to reach the required level of interoperability and combat readiness, these units are doing thorough preparations and training for the execution of tasks in the international environment.

They are currently focused on tactical drills, practising the execution of collective assignments, including the nuclear, chemical and radiological protection, patrolling, setting up checkpoints, force and facilities protection and casualty evacuation.
Once they have completed this training phase, the declared platoons will conduct tactical exercises at the "Borovac" range and at the "South" base, where their readiness to participate in multinational operations will be evaluated.

The Operational Capabilities Concept is one of the forms of cooperation under the Partnership for Peace programme, which helps the Serbian Armed Forces achieve interoperability standards and develop the operational capabilities of units declared for participation in peacekeeping operations.
