Bilateral consultations and staff talks between Republic of Serbia and Republic of Austria



Acting Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Predrag Bandić met with Arnold Kammel, Security Policy Director at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Defence, as part of bilateral consultations and staff talks between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Austria held in Vienna.  During the meeting, it was confirmed that the defence cooperation with the Republic of Austria was developed, and that there was mutual interest in its further improvement. Both sides expressed readiness to continue cooperation through the development and strengthening of military to military, military-educational, military-medical and cooperation under the auspices of the "Graz Format”.

As a confirmation of good defence cooperation, the 2022 Programme for Bilateral Military Cooperation was signed between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Austria, at the level of international military cooperation departments.
