REACTION
Regarding the allegations made by some media outlets in the region, the Ministry of Defence declares that our local self-government centres are not calling up conscripts for any military exercises, particularly not to put on a show of force. These are complete fabrications.
For the sake of truthful reporting, we announce that people are being called up for civil defence training exercises, for which the Department for Emergency Situations, Ministry of the Interior, sends invitation letters through our municipal centres. Calling up conscripts for civil defence training exercises takes place every year and it is regular and planned training organized by the Ministry of the Interior.
However, certain groups obviously want to destabilize our region, spreading complete untruths and using manipulation. We hereby ask them to stop spreading lies, which contribute to various attempts to disturb peace and stability in our region.
