Chief of Hungarian Air Force visits Serbia

The Chief of the Hungarian Air Force, Major General Nandor Kilian, has paid a two-day official visit to the Republic of Serbia, at the invitation of the Serbian Air Force and Air Defence Commander, Lieutenant General Duško Žarković.

Yesterday, General Kilian visited the Air Force and Air Defence Command in Zemun, where he and General Žarković discussed opportunities for the improvement of bilateral military cooperation, putting an emphasis on air force units’ joint training and exercises.
During the conversation, it was assessed that carrying out joint activities would contribute to the strengthening of friendly and neighbourly relations between Serbia and Hungary and the improvement of operational capabilities of the two armed forces.
During his stay in Serbia, the Chief of the Hungarian Air Force visited the military airports in Niš and Batajnica, where the 98th and 204th Air Brigades are based.
