Army engineer units undergo training
Members of the Fourth Army Brigade are undergoing regular training in carrying out engineering operations at the "South" base and in its near vicinity.
The professional component consisting of pioneers and road specialists is undergoing training, and the focus is on training soldiers, officers and NCOs who were previously assigned to duties in the engineer battalion.
Pioneers are carrying out practical exercises using mines and explosives, after which they will move on to more complex exercises focusing on demolition. They have already received theoretical instruction in the safe handling of explosives.The road specialists’ training includes the repair of roads damaged during the exploitation in the municipality of Bujanovac. In this way, members of the Serbian Armed Forces improve their skills and everyday life of the locals is made easier, since these roads are their only link with the urban environment.
Serbian engineer units have demonstrated their skills countless times, in joint tactical exercises and in providing assistance to citizens whenever needed.
