72nd Special Operations Brigade Day marked
The celebration of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade Day, which is marked on January 27 in memory of this unit’s first successfully performed combat task, was held today at the “Rastko Nemanjić“ barracks in Pančevo.
In front of the Brigade members in formation, the past year’s work results were summed up, the best team was announced and awards and recognitions were presented to the most deserving individuals. 
The review of the results achieved in 2021, which was marked by further enhancement of the brigade's capabilities and procurement of state-of-the-art weapons and military equipment, highlighted the professionalism, commitment and the great competence of members of the unit for performing the assigned tasks, which was confirmed by their participation in numerous exercises at home and abroad and as part of deployed troops. 
Members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade also celebrated the St. Sava Day, the patron saint day of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, at the “Rastko Nemanjić” barracks.
