After the visit of the Czech defense minister, Minister Sutanovac stressed that the cooperation in the field of military education had been very successful, with the new possibilities opening for joint investments and the wish to realize certain military technical plans.


At the ceremony marking 95 years of the Kolubara battle, LTG Miletic, SAF CHOD said that this was one of the Alliance’s greatest victories in WWI.

At a press conference given in order to present the results of his work, Minister Sutanovac singled out the opening of Jug base as one of the defense system’s greatest achievements while the main goal for 2010 would be the completion of the professionalization process. At this press conference held in the renovated building of SAF HQ he also gave guidelines for future work.

In an interview to Odbrana, Colonel Slavisa Ciric, the head of the Serbian military medical team in the peace mission in Chad, proudly states that the Serbian flag is right next to the Norwegian and UN flags. This mission has 7500 participants from 37 world countries. The main goal is providing humanitarian help necessary for the survival of almost 500000 refugees and IDPs who have found refuge in UNCHR camps in Chad in the last few years.

At the New Year’s reception, Minister Sutanovac stressed that there was no segment of the defense system that saw no improvement this year.

Minister opened a new angio room in MM, which ranks as one of the most advanced and best equipped of its kind in Europe it enables precise and complicated procedures .

This issue focuses on the new systematization of work and formation posts in MoD. Each organization unit will get a clearly defined function, and each member strictly defined tasks, which thus places more pressure and responsibility on an individual. Fewer managers, will yield better results and will help form a better personnel structure.
