Minister congratulates the Day of the Air Force



On occasion of 24 December-the Day of Air Force and Air Defense I extend my warmest congratulations.

Cherishing the traditions of military air force for almost a century with your high morale and personal qualities and skills, as well as by professionally carrying out your tasks, you have managed to build a modern branch of SAF which can counter successfully all security challenges and threats to the aerial space of Serbia.

Within the reform processes the defense system of Serbia is currently undergoing, you made extensive achievements in modernizing units and training while demonstrating your skills at Batajnica airshow and in the exercise ”Resolute Response 2009”.

I am certain that in the upcoming period you will also be able to professionally carry out your tasks and to build the capabilities of your branch thus becoming an equal partner to preserving the security of the aerial space and peace in the region.

I wish you much success in the days to follow and your future work.
