Minister Stefanović: Serbian Armed Forces will show their strength, equipment and training in Pešter

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, said today that, by order of the President of Serbia and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, the Serbian Armed Forces would show their strength, equipment and training in the largest exercise in Serbia in decades.

“On Sunday, the citizens of Serbia will have the opportunity to see our special units, our Army and our Air Force, in joint action, showing their equipment, training, but also commitment to the safety of the citizens of Serbia," Minister Stefanović said.
According to him, the exercise aims to show that the investment in the armed forces, investment in the salaries of soldiers, non-commissioned officers and officers, in their uniforms, equipment and weapons has paid off, because today Serbia is a guarantor of security and safety for all its citizens and continues to play a very important role in the stability of the region.

“By order of the President, the exercise will be conducted on several training grounds in the coming days and will include elements, such as night fire, which have not been possible so far. The final part of the exercise is in Pešter on June 27, where most of our units will show maximum cooperation and prove that the military is the strongest bulwark of our country," Minister Stefanović said.

He also said that the military would continue to always stand with its people, to provide assistance any time anywhere, and to be there when needed.
