Session of the combined committee
Fourth session of the Combined Serbian-Egyptian military committee started in Belgrade today which will last till 17 December. The MoD delegation is headed by the Assistant Minister for Material Resources Ilija Pilipovic, while the five-member delegation is led by Brig. Gen. Naser Eldin Abdelahmed Kotv.He purpose of this meeting is promoting cooperation with the Arabic Republic of Egypt where the issues of mutual economic, military and military education interest. Furthermore, besides the plenary sessions and separate sessions of the Committee, the Committee is to visit the Military Academy and the Military Medical Academy.
The visit also envisions the reception of the head of the International Military Cooperation Department, as well as signing the bilateral military cooperation plan for 2010, as well as the harmonization of the defense cooperation document which is to be signed in the forthcoming period.
