Minister receives AMET
Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac received today the members of the AMET-14 team, the fourteenth aerial medical evacuation team to be deployed in the MONUC mission, UN mission in Congo. The team has six members, two doctors and four medical technicians, of the Military Medical Academy, Nis Military Hospital and SAF. They will be deployed in the mission in Congo as of February next year for a six month period.
The team finished a specialist training at MMA and in the Peacekeeping Missions Center as well as the training in field conditions.
MONUC was established in November 1999 in line with the UN Charter and based on the Resolution 1279.
