Meeting with UN Secretary General



Serbian Ministers of Defense and of Foreign Dragan Sutanovac and Vuk Jeremic respectively spoke with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on the current situation in Kosovo, the ongoing process before the International Court of Justice and the participation of SAF members in peace operations.

“Secretary general met with the Serbian Minister of Foreign Vuk Jeremic and discussed the current state of affairs in Kosovo including the current status of the dialogue regarding six fields of practical agreements", said for the Internet portal of the Serbian national broadcaster (RTS) Ban’s media representative Vanina Mastraci. Jeremic and Ban Ki-moon also discussed issues pertaining to the cooperation with the ICTY, as well as the current debate regarding the declaration of Kosovo’s independence.

“Serbian defense minister was also present, and UN Secretary General expressed his thanks to him for Serbia’s interest in being more involved in peace operations.
