Bilateral military coperation plan signed with Hungary



Heads of the International Military Cooperation Department of defense ministries of Serbia and Hungary, Milorad Peric and Brigadier General Istvan Dzenes respectively, signed a Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan for 2010 today.

It was agreed that the next period be dedicated to intensifying activities pertaining to the harmonization of the Defense Cooperation Agreement and other agreements necessary for further advancement of cooperation.

The plan envisions the cooperation to focus on joint military exercises and sharing experiences in the reforms of the defense system and professionalization of armed forces.

The Hungarian side is ready to share the experiences in PfP as well as the experiences in training and deployment of the Hungarian soldiers in multinational operations.

The Ministry of Defense of Hungary decided to donate funds thus supporting the establishment of a regional NBC training center in Krusevac.
