Chinese Minister of Defence General Wei Fenghe ends his visit to Serbia



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, saw off today the State Councilor and Minister of National Defence of the People’s Republic of China General Wei Fenghe along with members of the Chinese delegation at the Belgrade’s “Nikola Tesla” airport, which ended Minister Wei Fenghe’s three-day visit  to our country.  
On that occasion, Ministers Stefanović and Fenghe expressed their satisfaction with the visit.  
 
Minister Stefanović thanked General Fenghe for donating a new batch of vaccine doses that is expected shortly and is primarily intended for members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and members of their families.
 
It was concluded that the visit confirmed the “steel” friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Serbia and China and readiness was expressed to work with the Ministry of National Defence of the People's Republic of China on further development of overall relations, especially in the field of military units’ joint training and military education.
Minister Stefanović thanked General Wei Fenghe for the invitation to visit China this year and attend the International Xiangshan Security Forum.
