Minister Stefanović meets with retired service members



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, met today with the representatives of the Serbian Association of Retired Service Members.
 
Minister Stefanović thanked the representatives of the Association for constructive suggestions on how to improve the position of retired service members and emphasized that the Ministry of Defence would strive to find solutions to retired service members’ specific problems.  
  At the meeting, initiatives for resolving retired service members’ health, pension, disability insurance and housing issues were discussed.
 
President of the Association, retired Lieutenant General Ljubomir Draganjac thanked Minister Stefanović for his readiness to find solutions to problems that retired members of the defence system were facing.
 
The Association of Retired Service Members is one of the largest associations of this type, with more than 30,000 members.
