Session of the PRISMA Managing Board

On the premises of PRISMA project a fifth regular session took place of the Temporary Management Board of PRISMA Oficers Retraining Center, NATO/PfP Trust Fund, International Organization for Migration, and the Nordic initiative countries, chaired by State Secretary Igor Jovicic.

Besides the members of the Managing Board, the session, where the results achieved so far in retraining NCOs for new professions along with proposals for continuation of work in the next one-year period, was also attended by the three-member Danish delegation, with Mrs. Brigit Rasmunsen heading the delegation.

The delegation of the Kingdom of Denmark, one of the countries within the Nordic initiative, which is very much engaged, and the donor country for the NCO retraining project, started its visit on 15 November.

During these several days, the delegation toured the NCO retraining centers in Nis, Novi Sad, and Belgrade where they attended the end of the retraining courses. On that occasion, Mrs. Rasmunsen presented awards to the best attendees of the course while expressing hope that all these NCOs would soon feel comfortable in their new professions.

NCO retraining program in Serbia is one of the best in the region as 72 of the attendees who finished the course have already found a new job.
