Conference "Security in cyber space"
In “Serbia” palace a two-day international conference titled “Security in Cyberspace” started today which was organized by the Institute for Strategic Research of the Sector for Defense Policy, MoD.The conference was opened by LTG Milan Zaric, Head of the Institute, who on this occasion emphasized the importance of information for national security as well as the fact that IT has created new environment-cyber technology.
The work will be realized through three panel discussions: “Challenges and threats in cyber space”, “Situation in Serbia” and “Experiences and Recommendations”.
The conference participants include the representatives of MoD, SAF< Ministry of Telecommunications and IT society, of the Police, of special prosecutor’s office for countering VTK, special VTK section of the Belgrade district court, of state and private organizations , as well as participants from US, UK, Norway, France, Switzerland, Estonia and the Republika Srpska.The purpose of the conference is exchanging scientific information, knowledge and experiences home and foreign experts on threats and challenges in cyber space.
