Minister Stefanović meets with Minister of Economy Atanasković



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, met today with Minister of Economy, Ms Anđelka Atanasković, with whom he talked about the cooperation between the two ministries in the field of defence industry.
They considered possibilities of improving and modernizing domestic defence industry so that it would become more productive and competitive on foreign markets, which would ensure a better material status of the factory workers.  

Minister Stefanović emphasized that we were clearly determined to rely on domestic knowhow in equipping the Serbian Armed Forces, and that it was important for the domestic industry to be capable of developing necessary materiel.

Minister Atanasković stated that the Ministry of Economy would help analyse these companies’ performance and results, as well as generate prospects for their further developments.
