Minister Sutanovac's congratulatory note on the Day of the Army



"On occasion of 16 November-the Day of the Army, I extend my warmest congratulations to the members of the branch”.

With the significant results you have achieved in building operational capabilities, and by improving the functional organization and professionalization, all necessary conditions for an efficient deployment of the army units in SAF missions and tasks have been created.

You have managed to successfully and responsibly carry out all your respective tasks in the south of Serbia and by improving cooperation with local self-government and other local structures you contributed to preserving stability in this part of our territory thus raising the repute of our army in the eyes of our citizens.

I am confident that settling a part of our army units in the newly built base “Jug” (South) together with the results of our efforts to improve the working and living conditions, and to modernize and equip our units with new modern weapons will serve as an additional motive to perform your tasks even better in the upcoming period and to become a reliable factor in countering all challenges and threats to our security.

I congratulate you this day wishing you much success in your work and in performing tasks”.
