Foreign DAs visit NBC center in Krusevac
Foreign DAs accredited to Serbia of potential donor countries visited the NBC specialization center yesterday. The visit was organized within the project of turning this center into a regional NBC specialization center.The purpose of the DAs’ visit to “Car Lazar” barracks in Krusevac was the presentation of the project “Regional NBC center” and to hear possible suggestions for donations to this project.
Foreign DAs were welcomed by the Training Command Chief Major General Aleksandar Zivkovic, commander of NBC center Colonel Slobodan Savic as well as the Chairman of the National Committee for Implementation of Chemical Weapons Ban Convention of the Ministry of Foreign Mr. Bratislav Djordjevic. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the International Military Cooepration Department Milorad Peric and the director of the Institute for Strategic Research LTG Milan Zaric.
DAs had the opportunity to get familiar with the work and the tasks of the NBC center and the project regarding the role of this unit was also presented.During the visit, DAs toured the accommodation facilities, cabinet rooms and the radiological and chemistry labs. As part of the statistical presentation, they saw the NBC equipment.
