Salvo on occasion of Armistice Day
Ceremonious salvo on occasion of Armistice Day in WWI was fired yesterday evening at the Kalemegdan plateau.The main state ceremony marking the Armistice Day will be held today near the memorial vault of liberators of Belgrade in WWI, at Novo groblje in Belgrade,
The central state ceremony will be attended by the representatives of ministries in the Serbian Government, SAF, of the City of Belgrade, ambassadors and DAs of Austria, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Canada, Hungary, Germany, Romania, Russia, USA, Slovakia, UK, France and the Czech Republic.
This ceremony is held in memory of all those members of armed forces fallen and the civilians who innocently lost their lives in WWI, while similar ceremonies will be held in the capital of victor countries.
