SAF CHOD and Hungarian CHOD meet

The delegation of GS of Hungary is paying an official visit to the Serbian GS headed by General Laszlo Tombol today and tomorrow.
SAF CHOD LTG Miloje Miletic stated that he was sure that this visit would contribute to promoting bilateral cooperation of the two armies.
General Miletic also estimated that the bilateral military cooperation had improved, as in the past three years joint exercises had been carried out in continuity along with the training of engineering and riverine units. The first planning conference will start tomorrow for the bilateral exercises scheduled for next year and which would be perform red by 1st army brigade and 5th infantry brigade of Hungary.

- During this visit we will discuss the possibilities for promoting cooperation in the fields of training, exchange of experience in army professionalization. Hungary completed this process back in 2004 and I believe that their experience would be most valuable for us which will help us finish this process.
One of the more important subjects will be sharing experiences in deploying units in peace operations, while also improving cooperation within State Partnership Program with Ohio, thus making it into a trilateral cooperation between SAF-ONG-and the Hungarian Armed Forces, as General Miletic said, reminding that ONG (The National Guard of Ohio) was the partner of both the Hungarian and the Serbian army.

High dignitary from Hungary stressed that the military officials of his country believed that the cooperation with Serbia was very important, and that our country had a prominent role in maintaining peace in these regions.
