Telegram of condolences of the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin to the families of the pilots who died in the aircraft crash
“The loss of every human life is a tragedy for the family and friends, and the death of a soldier is a blow and a tragedy for the entire country and nation.
We have lost our friends, officers, fighters, and Serbia has lost two pilots who put the defence of their country and people before anything else. There is no consolation; there is only the fact that we had the honour to study and work with them.
The army never forgets, and it remembers the courage and loyalty of its members forever. We will look after you, dear families, as if they were still with us, the army never abandons its best. No matter how much it hurts, we will be together in the times to come.
On behalf of all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, we extend our most sincere condolences", reads the telegram of the Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin sent to the families of pilots who died in the aircraft crash, Major Dejan Krsnik and Captain First Class Zvonko Vasiljevic.
