The donation was handed over to schools by the delegation led by the Head of the Group for Civil-Military Cooperation of the Air Force and Air Defence Command, Lieutenant Colonel Saša Antanasijević, and representatives of the Army and the Air Force and Air Defence delivered lectures to students.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Antanasijević, sets of books were donated to the two school libraries in the Municipality of Sjenica and 2000 protective face-masks for teachers and students, as part of civil-military cooperation.

The Chairman of the Municipal Assembly of Sjenica, Prof. Rejhan Kurtović, pointed out that the Serbian Armed Forces carried out a very important activity today – they handed over donations to schools and delivered instructive lectures to students.

- We, as a local self-government, have supported this activity. Our goal is to help our citizens together with the armed forces – emphasized Mr. Kurtović and added that, when it comes to the military exercise  “Joint Action 2020“, the local population is prepared, especially in the areas where the exercise will be carried out.
The Headmaster of the “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” school, Satka Ademović, thanked the representatives of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Municipality of Sjenica for today's visit and pointed out that one of the goals is to bring the students and the members of our armed forces closer.
- We are very happy with the visit; our doors are always open for them, primarily because this is the first visit of this kind to our school. On behalf of the staff and students of this school I would like to thank everyone, especially the Serbian Armed Forces and I hope that we will have successful cooperation in the future as well – said Ms. Ademović.

The Headmaster of the “Rifat Burdžević Tršo” school, Muzafer Bibić, thanked the members of the Serbian Armed Forces for today's visit, for delivering very important lectures, and for donating books and protective masks to students and teachers.

As part of their third mission, the Serbian Armed Forces have provided assistance to the residents of Pešter before. Whenever it was needed, they helped construct roads and waterworks, remove deposited snow, and supply water to the residents of that area.
The elderly locals are well acquainted with military doctors, and the projects such as "Military Doctor in the Village" and "Visit to the Village" which were carried out in the most remote villages of the Pešter plateau, were well received.

Today's civil-military activities of the Serbian Armed Forces are dedicated to the youngest population, with the goal to contribute to the improvement of the teaching process in rural schools, in the complex conditions characterized by the fight against Covid-19.
