SAF CHOD visits UK
SAF CHOD LTG Miloje Miletic is paying an official visit to UK as of today.
In the afternoon, General Miletic had official talks with his host, General David Richards. The topics of discussion were promoting and improving military cooperation between the two countries, UK’s support to the reforms of the defense system in Serbia support to Serbia’s active role in multilateral activities, especially in the Partnership for Peace Program.During the meeting, opinions on transformation of armed forces of were exchanged. The British side was informed the Serbian delegation of its engagement in multinational operations. It was agreed that the cooperation in the filed of training and education be continued.
The tour of the UK Army Command and the Defense Academy of the UK armed forces is also planned.
This is the first visit at such a high military level after a period of several decades.
