MMA surgical team awarded special UN medals
Special emissary to the UN Secretary General Rima Salah and the commander of the MINURCAT peacekeeping operation (UN mission in Central African Republic and Chad) presented to the members of the Military medical Academy surgical team special UN medals for high achievements and exceptional engagement within the mission.The members of our team talked with the minister of defense of the Kingdom of Norway
Anne-Grete Strom Erichsen who, on that occasion, expressed great satisfaction of the Norwegian contingent and the light field hospital command with the participation, professionalism, expertise and demonstrated humanity of the members of our surgical team.
the MMA six-member team has been stationed in Chad as of 23 June 2009 based on the decisions of the National Assembly and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia. Our experts are deployed as part of the Norwegian contingent within the light field hospital.
