The meeting between Minister Vulin and the representatives of the Trade Union “Independence” of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces
The Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin, met today with the representatives of the Trade Union “Independence” of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
Minister Vulin talked to the trade union representatives about the cooperation so far as well as future cooperation pointing out that the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces primarily take care of their members and that the living standards of all the members have significantly improved.
The Minister of Defence thanked the representatives of the Trade Union “Independence” for their proposals which helped the Ministry of Defence recognize and solve the problems of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces.The trade union representatives pointed out that there is a continuous close cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and the Trade Union “Independence”, as well as the fact that there is a will to improve cooperation in the future.
During the meeting, trade union representatives thanked the Minister of Defence for the measures continuously taken by the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces which have significantly improved the financial status and living and working conditions of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Taking into account the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic and numerous tasks that the members of the Serbian Armed Forces are engaged in, in order to stop the spread of the infection, a high level of care for the people, their health and social status during the state of emergency was emphasized.
