Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac met in the House of Guards with the Minister of Defense of Turkey Mehmet Vecdi Gonul.t he high Turkish delegation visited Serbia in order to attend the SAF officers promotion ceremony.

The President of Serbia Boris Tadic, during his stay in USA, where he led the Serbian delegation at 64th UN session, also visited Ohio where he met with Governor Ted Strickland, the representative of the National Guard, of the Serbian Diaspora and the leaders of the business community.

At the pledge ceremony of September class conscripts, Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac stressed that this was the first time, we had had more candidates for regular military than the civil military service.

In an interview to ODBRANA magazine, Brigadier General Mladen Vurnua pointed out that the accreditation granted to the Military Academy, was just a big leap towards not only boosting the efficacy and quality of the education of future SAF officers, but also in forming a Military University and the future regional SAF center .

Ministers Dacic and Sutanovac sign a telecommunications cooperation agreement.

At the meeting with the directors of defense industry companies, held in Cacak-based “Sloboda”, the minister stated that this segment of our defense industry had a 400 million us dollars worth of exports agreed, and this year it is expected that this sum wile be exceeded.

On occasion of 110 years of “Stanislav Binicki” art ensemble, a concert was held in SAF Central Dome.

A third cycle of garrison organized courses in English has started, since the number of formation posts which require English, has been increased by 400, upon the proposal of units and commands.

The delegation of the Kingdom of Denmark visited the Military Academy, where the guests were presented with this top military university school and where possibilities of cooperation were discussed.
