New Second Lieutenants get diplomas



On occasion of their graduation, the students of 129th and 130th class of the Military Academy, diplomas were awarded today. At the graduation ceremony held at Banjica today, the new Dean of the Academy, Colonel Dragoljub Sekulovic, presented diplomas to the youngest second lieutenants, while Brigadier General Ranko Zivak presented the titles of pilots and flight emblems to the students of the Air Force department of the academy.

The top student of his class are Milan Kovacebic at VOJIN department for reconnaissance, informing and reporting (GPA 9.45), Bojan Tanasovski-technical service (GPA 9.38) and Milutin Mojsilovic-financial services department (9.45). they alos received presents. The best students in their respective battalions are Filip Stosic in the army battalion, Nikola Dimitirjevic, AF & AD and Momir Stankovic of the technical service battalion.

The award granted by “Borko Nikitovic” fund, which is traditionally presented to the best student in the SAF Army Battalion, this year went to Filip Styosic with a GPA of 8.75. Zorka Nikitovic, the mother of Borko Nikitovic, a soldier who tragically lost his life and whose name the fund bears, awarded the prize to Filip Stosic.


The ceremony was also attended by the Head of the Academy Brigadier General Mladen Vuruna ad the representatives of SAF and GS as well as numerous teachers and guests.
