Montenegrin and Serbian CHODs meet
The CHOD of Montenegro armed forces, Vice Admiral Dragan Samardzic is paying his first official visit to the Serbian GS. He was received today by LTG Miloje Miletic, Serbian CHOD. Both CHODs talked about the issues pertaining to bilateral military cooperation, and other regional initiatives.In the words of General Miletic, they talked about the topics of bilateral military cooperation which were on the agenda of the conference of the Balkan CHODs, as well as at the meeting of the Adriatic Charter and the SEE Defense Ministers meetings. General Miletic added that there was talk about education and personnel training questions, especially about establishing regional training centers.
Vice Admiral Samardzic stressed that the Montenegro Armed Forces were very interested in educating their military personnel in Serbia, including both undergraduate as well as postgraduate military studies. Montenegro has expressed its support to Serbia’s decision to establish a regional NBC weapons control center, while Montenegro intends to ask for our support to form a similar center for training helicopter pilots.
