Final preparations for the air show on Sunday
Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac and SAF GS Chief LTG Miloje Miletic attended the final preparations and training sessions of domestic pilots before the start of the Batajnica 2009 air show which is scheduled for Sunday, 13 September 2009 in Batajnica airfield.The training was also attended by State Secreatry of MoD Zoran Jeftic, as well as the SAF air force commander Brigadier General Ranko Zivak and other military commanders.
General Zivak’s conclusion was that the planned program was performed without any technical difficulties and as planned, while taking this opportunity to invite all citizens to attend the air show, as they could expect fine weather and a real spectacle.
The pilots of the Galeb, Utva, Orao, MiG 29, and Lasta types of aircrafts demonstrated their skills.Minister Sutanovac visited the airfield where he was acquainted with the final preparations and works being done on the facilities and amenities for the big air show on Sunday.
