Minister Vulin: “Jutarnji list” blinded by hatred of Vučiću
- When “Jutarnji List” attacks the Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, we know that some Croatian politician did not have the courage to sign his own name. Croatia’s policy towards Serbia is determined by complexes and fear, when it would be better to have it guided by a genuine sense of guilt. The descendants cannot be held responsible for the sins of their ancestors, but when their crimes against the Serbs have still not been condemned and when justification for them is still sought, then there is no doubt that they would be repeated. Those who have not condemned what happened in Jasenovac have repeated everything through “Oluja” (“Storm”), those who do not see the reason for convicting the killing of children in “Storm” obviously hope it would be repeated, Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vulin said today.
He stressed that Serbia did not revive the Ustashas and did not provoke the civil war in Croatia and that the state of Croatia should look for the reasons of its own emergence in something else. In Greater Serbian aggression it cannot, this aggression never happened, in Independent State of Croatia it can however, it did happen, at least while Hitler managed to maintain it.
- If “Jutarnji List” was not blinded by hatred of Vučić, they would have noticed that Serbs from Slovenia, Northern Macedonia and Croatia were also present at the meeting on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia, not just Mandić and Dodik. The Serbs have openly rallied around Vučić, a statesman they expect to receive both advice and help from. This seems to be the reason for the attack on Vučić. Serbia must not be successful and must not rally all the Serbs. This is why “Jutarnji List” mentions the 1990s. But times have changed, Serbia dares and can bring all the Serbs together, she dares and can be successful, Minister Vulin concluded.
