Free entrance to the “Rajko Mitić” stadium for members of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces
The Management of “Crvena Zvezda” (“Red Star”) Football Club has made a decision to allow the members of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces free entry to the stadium “Rajko Mitić”, for all matches played within the Serbian Cup and Super League of Serbia.
The decision was announced by club president Svetozar Mijailović, during a visit by representatives of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces to the “Red Star” Football Club.
- This is yet another form of a very good and versatile cooperation with the members of the Serbian Armed Forces. With this initiative, we provide an opportunity for the members of the Serbian Armed Forces to attend the matches of our club. On the other hand, this cooperation confirms our club’s commitment as a socially responsible institution in football to enable it to become more aware of what it does through the variety of modes of cooperation we have had so far – said, among other things, President Mijailović.
Colonel Dragan Mesarović thanked the Head of the Civil-Military Cooperation Department of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces for the appreciation shown, and especially for such a decision of the leadership, expressing his belief that mutual support in the business we deal with would be the best incentive to strengthen the sports spirit and patriotism, for football players as much as for soldiers and the commanding staff.
