Letter of Gratitude from Ambassador of Turkey in Belgrade




Ambassador of Turkey in Belgrade, Tanju Bilgic has sent a letter of gratitude to Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin in which he expressed gratitude for the courage of a member of the Serbian Armed Forces Corporal Uroš Ždero who had recently saved life of a six-year-old boy, a citizen of Austria of Turkish origin after a grave traffic accident.
 
The letter reads as follows:
 
“I would like to express my most sincere gratitude and pay homage to the member of the Serbian Armed Forces, Corporal Uroš Ždero, driver of military ambulance from Health-protection Division of the 17th Mechanised battalion of the First Army Brigade from Bačka Topola, who has saved life of a six-year-old boy, a citizen of Austria of Turkish origin, who had been injured in a grave traffic accident on the motor way between Novi Sad and Subotica, near Stari Žednik, on 2nd September 2019. Please convey my best regards to the Corporal, Mister Uroš Ždero, who displayed great courage performing this noble deed. I avail myself of this opportunity to renew Your Excellency the assurances of my highest consideration”.
