Memorial ceremony for Lt. Col. Randjelovic and soldier Ulemek
A memorial ceremony on occasion of yesterday’s tragic deaths of Lt. Col. Rade Randjelovic and soldier Milan Ulemek was held today in Air Force Dome in Zemun.Besides the families of the killed, the memorial was attended by the Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac, the Chief of SAF GS LTG Miloje Miletic with his co-workers, the members of the Air Force command and SAF Air Force units, as well as their colleagues and friends.
Brig. Gen. Nebojsa Djukanovic, Deputy Commander of Air Force, was the first to address the present. After paying the last respects and a moment of silence, Brigadier General Mirko Vranic, commander of 204th aviation base, spoke about Lt. Col. Randjelovic.On behalf of the unit, Captain Toni Latinovic, the commander of 177th Air Force artillery-rocket spoke of soldier Ulemek.
In one day alone, we lost a great pilot Rade Randjelovic, a flight instructor bearer of the Golden Pilot Symbol, and a respectable soldier Milan Ulemek, as was stated today at the memorial ceremony held in Zemun.
